About the Role

The Senior Flutter Architect will drive the technical vision of mobile projects, providing hands-on leadership for Flutter development and mentoring the team. This contractor position offers hybrid or full-time presence at the office (3–5 days/week) and requires close collaboration with clients to deliver scalable, high-quality applications.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and development of scalable Flutter applications from concept to deployment.
Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and performance.
Mentor developers and provide guidance on complex technical challenges.
Serve as the primary technical liaison between clients, product managers, and creative teams.
Influence product design and technical decisions to achieve outstanding user experiences.
Participate in client meetings, presenting technical trade-offs and solutions clearly.

Required Skills

Extensive experience in Flutter development with a strong portfolio of live applications.
Deep knowledge of cross-platform and native mobile development (Swift/iOS, Kotlin/Android).
Expertise in software engineering principles, design patterns, and mobile architecture.
Excellent English communication skills for client-facing discussions and team collaboration.
Hands-on experience in code review, testing strategies, and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Firebase and Google Cloud Platform.
Understanding of mobile accessibility standards (a11y).
Contributions to open-source projects or community-driven initiatives.
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and mobile design best practices.
