Corporate Real Estate Legal Assistant
Location: Coral Gables, Fl

Seeking a Corporate Real Estate Legal Assistant or Paralegal working directly with General Counsel and the CFO on sophisticated commercial and mixed-use development and leasing transactions—including residential lots, bulk land deals, and shopping centers. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role for someone who understands the documents, anticipates outstanding requirements, and takes ownership of moving transactions through closing. The ideal candidate is sharp, detail-oriented, thorough, tech-savvy, and proactive, requiring minimal direction.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase and sale agreements: Review and assist with PSAs and related documents for mixed-use developments, residential lots, bulk lots, and shopping centers.
- Commercial leasing: Review leases and support leasing matters from start to finish.
- Title and due diligence: Work through title requirements, help resolve objections and clearance, and coordinate title objection surveys and other due diligence.
- Transaction management: Track deadlines, deliveries, and closing items, and work with attorneys, title companies, accounting, and other professionals to keep deals on schedule. Assist the accounting team with transaction-related matters as needed.
- Files and technology: Maintain organized transaction, legal, and corporate files (physical and digital), and look for ways to use technology to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- 5+ yrs experience at mid-sized law firm OR legal department of a homebuilder
- Corporate real estate experience with purchase and sale agreements, commercial leasing, and closing documentation
- Strong knowledge of title requirements, title objections, and title objection surveys
- Proficiency with NexDocs, Excel, and redlining programs
- Proactive, take-charge approach to managing due diligence, deadlines, and transaction coordination
***Salary: $90K- $120K
