About the Role

ELTAKO is seeking a Flutter App Developer to join the team in Fellbach, with the flexibility of up to 80% remote work. This role focuses on enhancing the ELTAKO Connect App, integrating smart home devices, and delivering outstanding user experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about app development, has an eye for detail, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Integrate smart home devices (WiFi/Bluetooth) into the ELTAKO Connect App
Develop new features such as push notifications and continuously improve UI/UX
Test new functionalities directly on IoT devices
Analyze and fix bugs to ensure stable releases
Collaborate closely with QA, embedded systems, and UI/UX teams
Contribute to requirement analysis and bring innovative ideas to the product team

Required Skills

Completed training as IT specialist in application development or a degree in Mobile Media, Media Informatics, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Flutter/Dart for mobile app development (iOS/Android)
Additional experience with Kotlin (Android) or Swift (iOS) is an advantage
Strong knowledge of OOP, clean architecture, and Git-based workflows
Experience with relational databases such as SQLite
Proficiency in unit and widget testing (integration testing experience is a plus)
Strong focus on scalability, performance, and clean code practices
Excellent German skills (C1) and good English skills (B2)
Independent working style combined with strong teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Enthusiasm for smart home technologies and solutions
