Job Opening: Flutter/Java Full Stack Engineer
We’re seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer with expertise in Flutter and Java to join our team in Atlanta. You’ll work on the MC2 handheld X-ray platform, leading development across the entire stack—from the tablet interface built in Flutter to backend services using Spring and GraalVM. Your work will directly improve the performance, reliability, and usability of our system for clinicians in the field.
What You’ll Do:

Lead full-stack development for our handheld X-ray tablet interface.

Build and deploy user-facing features from concept to production.

Design UI screens in Flutter and extend backend services with Spring REST and WebSockets.

Work directly with physical hardware to integrate and test features.

Maintain a high standard of code quality with unit, integration, and system tests.

Develop and enforce a modern CI/CD pipeline using Docker and GitHub Actions.

Improve performance by profiling and tuning Flutter, JVM, and GraalVM native images.

Optimize data streaming, especially for real-time image previews.

Create tools to help engineers easily reproduce and debug tablet issues.
What We’re Looking For:

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in Java/Spring (ideally using GraalVM) and mobile/web frameworks like Flutter or React.

Hands-on experience with Linux, CI/CD pipelines, and real-time protocols.

Strong understanding of REST and WebSocket communication.

Bonus if you have experience in medical devices or other regulated industries.

Proficient in Linux scripting, debugging, and performance analysis.
