About You
We’re seeking a skilled developer to join our new mobile app team. In this key role, you’ll help design and build our mobile platform for both iOS and Android. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you’ll play a critical part in shaping team culture, establishing best practices, and driving innovation alongside a forward-thinking group.
You have a strong grasp of the software development lifecycle, write clean code, and focus on quality through thorough reviews and testing. Your excellent communication and teamwork skills will help foster a supportive, high-performing team.
Responsibilities

Work closely with backend, frontend, and product teams to develop and improve our mobile app, ensuring solid unit testing.

Collaborate with project and product teams to plan sprints, retrospectives, and technical strategies.

Review code and enforce best development practices to ensure maintainability and clarity.

Troubleshoot and fix software issues to support smooth team operations.

Document architecture and design for easier onboarding and knowledge sharing.

Support app testing, submission, approval, and publishing processes on Apple and Google platforms.

Define and maintain development standards to ensure quality and sustainability.

Share ideas and feedback to enhance team workflows and efficiency.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.

4+ years building mobile apps with Flutter, ideally in eCommerce.

Skilled in Flutter, Dart, JavaScript, and modern development tools.

Strong expertise in Flutter UI development and Dart programming.

Deep understanding of Clean Architecture principles applied in Flutter.

Experience contributing to apps published in Google Play and App Store.

Ability to guide team members on architecture and design decisions.

Proven backend integration experience.

Competent in unit/integration testing, debugging on iOS/Android, and source control tools like Git or Bitbucket.

Experience delivering production software in agile environments.

Detail-oriented with a focus on clean, efficient code.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

Experience with Agile scrum methodology.
Preferred

Familiarity with Firebase, CI/CD pipelines, and Progressive Web Apps.

Willingness to learn additional technologies like native iOS/Android or Bluetooth Low Energy.
Compensation
Salary ranges from $145,000 to $160,000 annually, excluding additional benefits and bonuses. Final pay is based on skills, experience, certifications, and organizational needs.
